A Little bit about MYRON...

I am a Native Texan originally from Corpus Christi.  I earned a BBA in Finance from Oklahoma State University in 1983.  In my first three years of college, I was awarded full basketball scholarships from AmariIlo College and the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO.  I opted-out my senior year at Mizzou and transferred to OSU.  After graduation, I moved to Houston and worked for a nationwide real estate investment company in a branch that managed over 600 single-family homes.

I earned my real estate license in 1986 and worked as a Property Manager for six years before moving to Austin in 1992 where I resumed working as a Property Manager.  Shortly after recuperating from donating a kidney to my brother, I joined Capitol Area Realty in 1996 as a Realtor and Vice President of Finance.  

Being a team player with over 23 years of real estate experience, I strive to let my clients know the importance of working together on the best game plan to fulfill their real estate endeavors.  I spend extra time providing my clients with the knowledge of financing tools to assist them with making smart decisions.

I am a civic leader and a "people-person".  I am President of my Neighborhood Association and I serve as a City of Austin Commissioner on the Community Development Commission (CDC - tasked with advising the City Council on all aspects of affordable housing).  Additionally, I am an active member of the Austin Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce - aglcc.com.  I put my real estate career on hold for five months when I volunteered with 'Katrina Help Austin' & 'Katrina Support Austin'.  We assisted thousands of people from New Orleans who found themselves in Austin after Hurricane Katrina devastated their city.
